Welcome to our island hideaway. Escape to your own private waterfront retreat in the heart of nature - best enjoyed over a four or five day visit, or longer (our minimum stay is two nights). Rural Lasqueti Island is only a day's journey from Vancouver BC, and yet a world apart. Stay in the very quiet cabin on the private beach. We live on the beach, and grow our own vegetables and fruit and salad greens. We grow everything organically. We also harvest seafood in nearby waters. Organically grown vegetables and fruit are available to buy. There is also a farm which sells organic meat in season. Almost all the Lasqueti Island community enjoys organic foods, and supports the organic lifestyle.
