Cerro de Janeiro is a charming Alentejo farmhouse offering stunning panoramic views of the Monchique mountains and the surrounding hills. The old farmhouse has been lovingly restored with traditional stone and clay tiled floors, chestnut beams, arched doorways, wooden floors. Outside there's a shaded picnic area (camp kitchen by arrangement) next to the natural shade provided by loquat trees and grapevines. There is a large natural pond. The 2 hectare farm has an olive grove and a small organic vegetable garden and orchard. We grow all our own vegetables and practice permaculture. Close to the village of Nave Redonda, this organic farmhouse retreat offers peace and tranquillity in an area of unspoilt natural beauty.
