Brekkubaer is part of the Green Globe 21 environmental programme and works towards certification. Situated in peaceful surroundings at Hellnar, in one of the most beautiful spots on the Snaefellsnes peninsula, its location offers a majestic view of the Snaefellsjokull glacier. Rest and replenishment - in the kitchen we cook good and healthy Icelandic dishes from fish and meat, and offer a vegetarian meal of the day. License to serve (organic) wine. When available, we only use raw materials of organic origin when cooking. Our own vegetables are organically grown, and what we don't grow ourselves we buy from organic greenhouses. All breads and cakes are baked on the premises.
