A wonderful old 1910 farmhouse with a wraparound porch, on 24 acres in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Surrounded by wildflower meadows with wonderful views, a small swimming pond, woods and the Ivy River. The house and cottage are surrounded by organic gardens of every kind. Home produce is served for breakfast - five varieties of raspberries, strawberries all summer, blueberries and blackberries. Asparagus and peppers for omelettes, numerous varieties of potatoes - white, gold, purple, pink, and the most delicious heirloom tomatoes. Every imaginable seasonal vegetable is flavoured with fresh herbs and adorned with edible flowers. And everything is organic. No pesticides. No chemical fertilizers.
