Surrounded by woods, meadows and vineyards in the Friuli Hills, La Faula is situated in the village of Ravosa, between Venice and Trieste. Rooms, suites and bungalows are available. It's a 32 acre organic farm of which six acres are cultivated as vineyard. The grapes are transformed into award winning organic wines in the winery attached to the house. Cattle is raised for the production of meat used in the farmhouse restaurant. Also free range chickens are raised for the production of eggs. There's an organic vegetable garden, all produce of which goes into the preparation of the dinners served to guests. The jams and marmalades served at breakfast are made on the farm. Cooking classes, strolls through the vineyards, wine cellar visits.
