The four yurts are well spaced in their own field on our organic beef and sheep farm, with stunning views across the moors. Using a design that has served the nomadic tribes of Mongolia for centuries, our yurts have been made by a local craftsman from timber grown on Bodmin Moor. These vaulted tents have an intricate lattice for walls and steam bent roof poles to give them their distinctive shape. Adapted for our climate, they are covered with sail grade canvas and mounted on wooden platforms. At the farmhouse we sell our famous minted lamb burgers and mutton sausages - otherwise there’s an excellent village shop within walking distance that will cater to all your other needs, including internet access and a small cafe.
