This well designed shepherd’s hut sits on its own grassy knoll behind an old stone wall. With wonderful sea and woodland views, it's a few hundred yards walk from the Treshnish farmyard. The field is often grazed by our Herdwick sheep, and the lambs love to play on the little hill near the hut. Inside the shepherd’s hut the walls are wood lined and it has a comfortable small double bed, bench, table and kitchen area, and an ensuite shower room. The wood burning stove may be tiny but with plenty of insulation the hut is warm and cosy whatever the weather outside. The bed is built in at one end, with a window looking out to sea. The kitchen has ceramic hob plates, a fridge and sink. Special outdoor pots are provided for the outdoor oven.
