Situated next to Iona Abbey, the hotel is owned by a partnership of ten individuals - nine of whom live and work on Iona. We aim to continue the tradition of hospitality that this hotel has offered for more than a hundred years. Our sun lounges, dining room and many of our rooms enjoy spectacular views over the Sound of Iona towards the mountains of Mull. All our food and baking is prepared from scratch on the premises. Our kitchen garden is run on organic principles and we achieved full organic certification in August 2008. The garden supplies much of the vegetables and most of the salads used in our kitchen. All other food is sourced as locally as possible, and we use fairtrade products where available. Free broadband internet.
