For those who love the peace and simple rhythms of country life, Poggio Pratelli is the ideal place. Immersed in the glorious Tuscan landscape, you can rediscover the almost forgotten scents and sounds of nature. This delightful hideaway is in a perfect rural setting yet only 25km from Florence. Poggio Pratelli is a small farm principally dedicated to the growing of two crops - organic olives, which produce an excellent extra virgin olive oil, and irises. Part of the country house has been restored for guests, preserving the original wood beamed ceilings and terracotta tile floors. The buildings and gardens maintain the atmosphere of a genuine Tuscan farm. From the garden you can admire the lovely view over the Arno Valley.
