Atlantic beaches and wild countryside for swimming, surfing and walking. We are just under a mile from the South West Coast Path. Set in an Area of Outstandin Natural Beauty and run on organic principles, the farmhouse and cottage, both with panoramic sea views, have non mains water and an eco sewage system. Wildflowers beside the long access track and in the field are managed so as to attract insects, particularly butterflies. There are swallows under all the eaves and bats circling at dusk. We keep chickens and grow vegetables, with lots of seasonal foraging for blackberries and sloes. Delicious well raised meat and seasonal vegetables are available locally. Hartland is a thriving community and has a variety of artists and potters.
