Atlantic beaches and wild countryside for swimming, surfing and walking. We are just under a mile from the South West Coast Path. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and run on organic principles, the farmhouse and cottage, both with panoramic sea views, have non mains water and an eco sewage system. Wildflowers beside the long access track and in the field are managed so as to attract insects, particularly butterflies. There are swallows under all the eaves and bats circling at dusk. Delicious well raised meat and seasonal vegetables available locally, with seasonal foraging for blackberries and sloes. Hartland is a thriving community and has a variety of artists, etc. We have a wood fired pottery on site, with pottery lessons on offer.
