Once the calving shed, the Byre has all the oak beam charm you would expect of an old farm building, made contemporary. There are two spacious and light bedrooms on the first floor, both accessed from the gallery overlooking the lounge and breakfast area below. Both bedrooms have a king size double [which can be two singles] and a separate single. At the end of the upstairs gallery is a shower room with loo and there’s a second shower room and loo downstairs. Downstairs is the open plan lounge and breakfast room with a round glass fronted wood burner. There’s also a fridge and tea / coffee making facilities, plus a flat screen TV and video in the lounge. Outside you’ll find a patio and garden areas surrounding the cottage.
