The Cloisters offers unique self catering accommodation. It was built in 2001 to celebrate the millennium and twenty years of our family living here. Many of the building materials were sourced from the land at Fyfield, including the flint used in some of the interior walls and the tree used for the staircase. The emphasis was to reflect the importance of the environmental impact in the 21st century. The cottage has all the space and light of modern living, with all the character of a period home. A natural mixture of wood, stone and light walls blend to create a stunning space. The south west wall is completely glazed with carved oak mullions supporting the windows overlooking the walled garden. The gardens are a haven for wildlife and totally organic.
